Today's Maneuver and Website Upgrade

Today between 1500 and 2200 UTC (11:00 am-6 pm ET) SDO will execute the HMI roll maneuver. During this maneuver science may be missing or blurry.

The SDO website upgrade will be happening today and tomorrow. There will be times when the website is unavailable while the new servers are brought on-line and services restarted.

SDO Website is back up

The maintenance on the SDO web and data servers is complete the website is back up and running normally. Thank you.

SDO website is undergoing maintenance

The SDO web and data servers are undergoing maintenance and will be unavailable for a time. We apologize for any inconvenience. We will send out a message as soon as our servers are back up.

A New Room for the SDO Website Server

This morning we are moving the computers that host the SDO website into a new server room at Goddard. The website will be offline for about 1 hour starting at 1500 UTC (10 am ET). The EVE Field of View and HMI/AIA Flatfield maneuvers that were delayed from last Wednesday will be run today.

SDO Server Replacement Going Slow

We are updating the SDO web server computers to get smoother service and more storage. There are some problems with the networking software that are being worked on at this time. We should have the website reopened no later than tomorrow.

Power Outage of SDO Website

The SDO website will be down while a power line is run into the server room at Goddard. It should return to service later this morning.
